Various birds use the bluebird boxes to roost in, so for those I close up the vent holes as much as I can. This is an actual winter roosting box, with the entrance at the bottom and perches on the inside. It's toward the back of yard, by the cranberry bushes and facing south so it gets a bit of sun in the morning. Read more about roosting boxes.
