Schots weekend Alden Biesen 2018

The Wallace Pipe band was established in October 1998 under the leadership of Pipe Major Johnny Noels (Meerhout en Laakdal)
In choosing the name of the band was there looked at the rich and illustrious history of Scotland. William Wallace was a 13th-14th century folk hero who fought for an independent Scotland against the British King House.
They wear the Red Wallace Tartan and carry the same motto as the Clan Wallace in Scotland, namely "Pro Libertate" (for freedom).
