0516 Wild Dogs charging at you

For the thousands of dollars spend to get there, and to stay there,
the island might offer you one unexpected, if not unwanted excitement:
Lose dogs barking and sometimes charging at you in fury. How delightful...

Good luck with your dog... We have a similar story about a dog called "Tequila" on Mo'orea.

As for the rest: We must be the "bad people", and the dogs were in right to defend their homeland from us.

Yeah, look at them "charging" at you. You must be so scared. You are 20 yards away and only one of the dogs is even looking in your direction. I've been over to the main island a dozen times and have yet to meet a single aggressive dog. Most come right up to you if you call them, hoping you have some food to share. Others are timid and will keep their distance. NONE so much as growled or looked at us in a way that implied aggression. In fact, we are flying one of the dogs back to the states with us next week.
