this place has been serving comfort food since opening in 1951...during the afternoon there were customers here awaiting their orders, but early closing left it on the quiet side during golden hour

the light ochre building behind dates from 1905, was initially city hall, police station, and jail, but now houses the Clatsop County Historical Museum
