apex

rodents, birds, and small pets all fear the park's apex predator, the nacho-winged sparrow muncher...they can be recognized by their ostentatious feathers, and foul breath like old cheese

How fascinating, the East Coast variety of these has the colors reversed....a blue body with orange spots and their breath smells like a newborn baby to lure their victims in.

It really must be quite frightening for the feathered natives.

A modern Archaeopteryx.

Better that predator than the living, breathing kind. Great shot!

Scary for sure. Good thing it only comes out on really windy days.

Lol! They are a very strange and rare find. V

Yes they are very dangerous, but they have their weaknesses. They are often caught up by power lines and tree branches, and they have a hard time getting airborne on calm days.
