the only Easter parade this morning was a line of shoppers waiting to get into the grocery store...what a slow moving procession it was too

Truly sad.. I can’t wait until this is over. We have 2 positive covid cases in my office and we are supposed to wear masks, but people aren’t. Unfortunately there is a lot of complacency. I make home visits for my job (social worker) and I am scared of catching it and passing it on to my family.

A sign of the times everywhere....

What a great work to tell this story.
It will have a great power when looked back upon many years later!

We haven't had to deal with the lines yet in our town but things seem to change day to day. Stay well David.

yes it looks like a parade, I have the impression that the safety distances are not respected. V

If it is a parade, where are the Easter Bonnets? V

I feel bad for folks in their early adult years. It's only going to get worse.
This has all happened so fast it's staggering to ponder...

This tells the story. I believe there will be many changes ahead. Probably no more shaking hands, just a polite bow like the Japanese.

Strong documentary image. Luckily senior shopping at early hours has spared us the lines.

A common sight these days, I understand, although Tim has been doing our grocery shopping, and there were no lines the last time he went, something I suspect will have changed when he goes again. However, we too have senior hours, which might be the best way to get some shopping done nowadays. Great capture, and I like that you got the woman in the mask, too.

Yep we have some lines here as well. Many of the stores have designated "senior hour" prior to opening to the general public, which is great and something I take advantage of. Here we are all wearing masks in the store, including all the store employees and they have installed "sneeze guards" at the checkout isles, large plexiglass partitions to further distance the customers from the checkers. But at least the panic buying appears to have subsided some as the isles are becoming better stocked with food and essentials. The new normal.

Glad you caught the masked woman It might look like an oddity for future generations...or maybe not.

A great image to show the changes to all of our routines.

I am with Hank´s comment....A usual scene these days.

Luckily there's senior shopping here 7-8 am - means early rising, but don't have those lines!

A sign of the times, but they do seem to be a bit too close together.
