decent

hairdressers, such as this old, traditional barber shop, are closed too...it's hard to be upset though, as now most men will finally have the chance to let their hair grow to a decent length

Time for the home clippers. Things have changed and so we must adapt. A nicely captured symbolic image of this change with the many reflections layered with the interior. VV

A fine capture and sad too. I am panicking about my hair. V

beautiful reflections through the window of the deserted hair salon! V

One nice thing about isolation - no one's around to notice :)

A sad documentary picture of these challenging times.

Yep, 1972 and over again. V

I was fortunate to have mine cut a few weeks back before ours were closed. My wife can probably give me a crew cut or something. It doesn't matter all that much what I look like for the immediate future. I feel so bad for all these people with jobs like this and for all of us who need them. Excellent capture David.

A reflective time for us all

I have been watching the local newsmen day after day and now even hairspray is not controlling things!
I love this awesome world of reflections!

Neat reflections. Lots to explore in this image.

That's good I've been doing that for a few months.

A valid excuse (this time).
Helen Betts06-Apr-2020 21:31
Fine capture with such interesting reflections. I guess what you're saying is that they can now let their hair down!
Nick Paoni06-Apr-2020 20:32
A complex and fascinating frame. Lots to see and appreciate if you don't cut the visit short.
Allan Jay06-Apr-2020 19:52
Definitely less choices for grooming.
Marcia Rules06-Apr-2020 19:43
LOL.....I'm afraid both me and OLiver will require extensive cuts ...
Colin Storey06-Apr-2020 18:30
Lots of stories on the news here people carrying DIY haircuts, with some very mixed results!
Neil Marcus06-Apr-2020 16:53
Interesting image, David. And "decent length" is a matter of opinion.
Walter Otto Koenig06-Apr-2020 16:09
Cool shot with the double reflections. The view inside this old school barber shop is intriguing. Nice to see you as well.

LOL, that would be an indecent length for me, David. M trimmed mine on Saturday, not that I have a lot to trim. The bowl method may be employed later. I like these reflections.

So no barbershop quartets then!
Don Mottershead06-Apr-2020 15:35
Yes, but there are lots of men who prefer to have their lawns mowed and their hair under control. In the days ahead they will take matters into their own hands with bowls and scissors. Expect to see lots of Moe look-a-likes walking around. Nyuk nyuk nyuk!
