cartographers

Flasher, North Dakota

there were no seedy looking old men wearing raincoats to be seen in Flasher, a modest little town with a population of a bit over 200 people...there was this grain elevator though, the top of the old sign still partially discernable despite the addition of newer cladding

traveling in N. Dakota, and considering the map along the way, there were many interesting town names like Mott, Hoople, Gackle, Tuttle, Inkster, Zap, and of course Cannon Ball...it seemed a cartographer's delight

will be off on the road, well actually off on the waves, tomorrow morning....committments with family on Vancouver Island will keep me offline for 3-4 days....cannot be sure as to the duration of the trip....back eventually
