Golden Gate

San Francisco Bay

with the roadway 220 ft (67m) above the water, and the top of the towers 746 ft (227m) high, the Golden Gate Bridge is particularly impressive from a harbour tour boat passing underneath...this is the west side of the bridge, looking south towards the city

Always impressive sailing under that bridge.....still not quite up to equaling going under Sydney's on a ship though. Fog would often lurk here.

Quite a comparison of the structure of the bridge and the boat underneath .

I am jealous - you definitely had better weather than us. I like this perspective and took a number like this but not nearly as good.

Super PoV David, really gives a sense of scale with the boat passing through...

A strong perspective looking toward Fort Point. Nicely timed with the other Tour Ship passing out of the bay. "V"
