The spruce has been putting on quite a show with its flowering cones.
When the wind blows we get clouds of pollen

Isn't Blue Spruce the tree that grows notoriously slowly? If so, yours might be ancient! I recall it in nurseries and gardens in southern Australia. PS How strange are those cones? Yes, like popsicles.
