The sun was so intense I had to occasionally turn the boat around and look away. The blue of the sky and water was intense. I was wearing winter gear, including wet suit and neoprenen boots. There was a cold breeze, but it was comfortable in the shadows but a little warm in the sun. The temp never got above 35 degrees F, a perfect day for winter kayaking.
