The strong point, IMO, is his expression.

Really serious little fellow! ;-)

Hahaha! This is too much! What a terrific expression... no, I won't take your toy away little champ!
Another beautiful treatment of his eyes, perfect balance of deep blacks and highlights.

This really is a masterpiece. Far more than just an attempt. I would suggest that you submit these shots to international exhibitions and watch them win silverware (medals, trophies, certificates of merrit etc).

I guess that I'll second Lucie B. You are indeed the "Queen of Portraits".

You're the queen of portraits... I say always the same thing... Fantastic expression and fantastic black and white in this one (I still have the impression to repeat myself... but... those are the great qualities of your work...)
And very sharp, as always!

"Hey you! I don't know you, I don't like you, get outta my face!" Arresting image made more powerful by careful presentation and sharp detail. And the "little champ" bib - too funny!
Guest 12-Apr-2006 20:22
He looks like an intense little guy...

Great shot - What a cute little character! But he looked "angry", maybe thinking that you might steal his precious pacifier :P
Guest 12-Apr-2006 04:20
gorgeous! The contradiction between his expression and the pacifier is priceless.
