_MG_5769--Hoodoo Sticks #2

Southwest Somewhere

Looks like a corral of some kind was set up here some time ago.
On the other side of the sticks was a large alcove of sorts.
This would have been one of two exits, if the livestock chose to jump through.
The foreground surface and shape of the rocks are natural and not man made.

Canon EOS 350D ,10-20 Sigma

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I can't make my mind up about this one, Fred
i find the out of focus hoodoos in the background a little distracting, and with such a strong foreground you wouldn't think it would compete, but for me it does, i think i would be inclined to crop the top of the hoodoos out, just leaving the bottom of the hoodood where they turn white

lovely '.framing'. btw thanks for the pano tips. gotta find a suitable subject to try it out again.
i think my main mistake is shooting it too wide (18mm) hence it is difficult to stitch up distortion?!
