I was folding socks today while thinking what my PAD was going to be ... and then it was one of those lightbulbs hovering over my head :) Plus, I needed something nice and colorful for my PAD, what with the snow outside ... so there's really nothing better than my Mum's beautiful warm, brightly patterened hand-knit socks :) My Grandma was an avid sock-knitter, and my Mum sort of eventually took over (will I start knitting socks en masse one day? :) I wear these socks over my thin socks as my walk-around-the-house socks so I have warm and cheerful-looking feet. And I think my Mum likes knitting them because she can go wild with colors and patterns. :)
