"Gamla Stan", the Old Town is - as the name says - the oldest part of the city. It's located on an island, with many cozy little alleys and cobble-stoned streets. Plenty of restaurants, as well as the main tourist shopping street can be found there, too. This is the view from Södermalm (one of the biggest islands) towards Gamla Stan.
