Findlay Bicentennial project

A second grader and her dad paint a fire hydrant on Main Steet across from the courthouse.
It will represented the American Flag when completed.
Many area artists and organizations have signed up to paint a hydrant
as one of hundreds of projects and activities celebrating the
Findlay Bicentennial (1812 - 2012)

We're happy you took our picture, Frank - it looks good! Stop by in a week or so when the hydrant is completed.
If anyone else is interested in painting a hydrant of their own, there may still be some available. Check out the bicentennial website at findlay200.com for the details!

That's really cool...what a good idea to celebrate the bicentennial in this way.
