Fire Investigators are still combing through the wreckage after two restaurants went up in flames early Monday (6/6/2011). According to "The Courier" it happened on Tiffin Avenue around 3:00 am. One fire broke out at Wendy's, at 500 Tiffin and the other one was spotted at Burger King, just down the road at 1700 Tiffin around 4:00am.
So far, Wendy's damage has been estimated at about $1 million. No word on damage estimates for Burger King. Investigators also found evidence that leads them to believe the fires were intentionally set.
No one was injured. Police tell "The Courier" that a dumpster and two vehicles were also set ablaze at other locations and they believe the incidents are connected.
