A good look at the new bridge. Spanking new looking compared to everything else around it. Very striking. The old bridge (I believe 90 years old) was destroyed by rockfall from the cliffs above one early morning, too early for anyone to be wiped out. It took them several months to replace it (funding was a problem) and during the time it was closed, the Larch Mt. Trail was inaccessible from the Multnomah Falls parking lot, one of the most popular scenic parking lots in the country.
