In summer 2004, after sterile room and radiation therapy, there were 2 weeks when I was feeling really healthy and it seemed I had done with chemo for good.

I painted this image then (on 28th of June 2004).
There are two colors I especially like: a blue like the summer sky on an especially beautiful summer evening; and a orange-yellow like the color of sunlight on an especially beautiful summer evening.
I used these two colors with this image.
It has also a text that goes with it:

"Ich bin der Sommer
Meine Füße wurzeln in der Sommererde
Mein Haupt wird von Sommerwolken gekrönt
Mein Reich hat soeben begonnen
und sein Ende ist noch weit"

"I am Summer,
my feet are rooted in the summer earth
my head is crowned by summer clouds
my reign has only just begun
and it's end is still far away."

Yeah, "far away"...exactly two weeks later I felt a strange pain in my left lung - 4 new tumours, as it turned out later.
