Tibetans are lighting yak-butter lamps for offering at Bodhnath stupa in Katmandu..
Bodhnath, a small village located on the eastern side of Katmandu is the religious
centre for Nepal's Tibetan exile..you can always see maroon-robed Tibetan monks,
"gompa" (Tibetan monasteries) roofs, incenses and yak butters.. this is one of
the few places in the world where Tibetan culture is accessible, vibrant and unfettered..
