Weather - intermittent showers and windy, low 36 (+2 C) high low 50s (12C)



Today was a day to stop the turning wheels, regroup, relax, work on puzzles and sort/edit photos.



In the evening I went out with brother Harold while he tracked some collared elk that were part of the herds in the Snoqualmie Valley. It was wet and dusky, but I managed to get a few decent shots as we watched a cow and two calves put the big munch on some apples in an abandoned orchard. Racine opted to stay back with Carol and enjoy the warmth of the wood stove instead of braving the wind and rain.



When we got back we played a few more games of Pinochle and the evening ended with the two teams tied and looking forward to breaking the tie tomorrow night. The adventure continues….
