As I live with this piece, I find other opportunities to display it. This piece has charmed us in so many ways. I am thankful for the tree's ability to foster a sense of home and place. Trees have basically three layers. It has roots underground. Connecting the roots to the sky, it has a trunk. High in the sky, a tree has branches and limbs that grow leaves that generate energy from the sun. Gratitude is the name I should have given this piece. But Hibernation is the time to slow down and reflect and be grateful.
