Gorgeous scene and a beautiful composition of this very historical location, Nick! Well done! ~V~

OK, some more CC on this image Nick. What doesn't work for me: it's not sharp (probably because it's taken with a P&S with a limited aperture); there's too much human clutter (!); the top of the castle is too near the top of the frame (have you cut off the upper bit of the flagpole?); it could do with a bit more in the way of contrast; and the house gets in the way of and detracts from a clean view of the castle. But there's still good points - a combination of strong lead lines really draw the eye to the castle and the colours are nicely saturated. In an ideal world, I suggest moving a dozen or so paces to the left and maybe 100yds closer and trying that, but that might not be practicable :o) In the meantime, a touch of contrast and cloning out a few random humans (maybe the more distant ones) and you'd improve it quite a bit. HTH!
