Mary Rose's Garden began with a few tomato plants surrounded by a field of weeds. The soil had a heavy clay content and came up in heavy clods that filled both hands. Many hours were invested in working the soil to break up and replace the clay. Spring 2009 was the prettiest Spring we've had in fourteen years at this residence. The year started with hardly half-an-inch (1.3 cm) of precipitation in the early months. Then the Spring snows came, and as temperatures warmed the rain began to fall as we seldom see it in Colorado.
Hey you two, WOW these are terrific pics, the colors are so clear and bright, serves the viewer as if a person was standing there in person. Thank you for sharing.
