This is a 5-exposure HDR (high dynamic range) image using a constant aperture with a tripod-mounted camera. Exposures ranged from -2 to +2EV. Note: I was aware of the lens flare at the time I took the photo but chose to accept it. Like an anomaly in the grain of a fine piece of wood, I think it adds to the character of the finished product. I actually LIKE lens flare, although I realize it may not be to everyone's taste!
