I've found several approx. 1/4 " long, off white oval shaped with a black worm-like appendage that emerges from either end and seems to move via this; no wings, no legs and seems to stick to everything - my house, garage, screens, pool. Have looked at hundreds of insects on line, nothing comes close. I am in southwest Florida. Could you please identify this insect and how do I get rid of them? Thank you!

found this grey blue worm in my yard, about 3" long thin, looks like a reg. fishing worm Never seen a worm this color, just want to know what is it's name, Moore Haven, Florida

A live worm like being in a cover that looks like a dried piece of lawn cutting, sticks to our stucco, screens and lay on rug of our patio just outside our kitchen patio door. The 1/4"worm-like being extends from both ends of soft beige/gray casing about 1/2 to 1 inch long.

I have a fuzzy red/yellow catapillar about 3" long. I find them on just one type of plant in garden. I live in SWFL.

There are thousands of these flying insects covering my shed . There about a half in. Long, one has a red backside with a black front portion ,others are all black. I think this could determine the sex.

What are the small worm-like things that die quickly and are brittle and fall off into little sections when you pick them up. They curl into a donut shape also.

I live in South Florida. I have been finding 1" long "worm like" but very hard outer shell insect (centerpede?) crawling accross my floors 2x-3x a week!! I grab a paper towel & squich them. But I keep finding them crawling on the floors. I live on a lake. What are they & how do I get rid of them? Help!

those sri lanka weevils are the same ones that feasted on the leaves of my Loquat trees. I picked off thousands of them. and days after I could pick off another thousand weevils. They just ate the leaves and I didn't notice any damage to the fruit.
