This is the thrid variation on the previous basic Mandelbrot set fractal, rendered in 3D. This version uses distance estimate values to calculate the height of each pixel. Note that the shape of this plot is different than the previous 2 plots. The peaks in the plot are smoother, rather than jumping suddenly like a mesa.
