Compare this photo with my photo of M31 made last year. This one is less noisy and has a little better focus. It is also framed more appropriately for this large galaxy, but one result of the different framing is that the elliptical galaxy M110 is not visible in this photo. M32, the irregular dwarf galaxy above and to the left of Andromeda, is still visible.
This photo is a composite of 25 two minute exposures, made with the same telescope, camera, mount and guiding system as I used last year.
