Ms. Laura Palombi, Associate Curator of Invertebrates at the Detroit Zoo

Ms. Palombi is organizing the project to develop a chart on the Butterfly Garden at the Detroit Zoo. Many of the photos in this gallery will appear
in the chart. Ms. Palombi was formerly Butterfly Program Coordinator. Her expertise in identifying butterflies and her work in making
many of them available to me after they emerged from their chrysalises have been invaluable in this project. Ms. Palombi did her
graduate work in the Department of Entomology at Michigan State University.

Thank you Laura! And, you as well Jay for a very valuable catch here. It is always nice to have an actual picture of fine people, too busy for the usual vanity image. To see that beauty does not escape the academician, is a worthwhile secret to expose in 'these times'. g

Wow! This must be the lady that you are taking all the pictures for....what a cool thing it is finally nice to meet her! Wonderful shot, Jay! I'd like to see the booklet after it is finished. I would actually like to buy a copy, if at all possible. V
