The Gümüşskesen is a Roman tomb, from the 2nd century BC. It is reportedly built along the lines of the Halikarnassos Mausoleum, but on a much smaller scale. The Lonely Planet guide advises you not to pay the entrance fee, since you can see plenty from the outside. I went inside, and found entrance was free (luck is with the simple folks). The advantage was that I could take shots from different angles (I took a lot), could chat with the guard and his friends, and be shown into the lower floor of the building.
The ceiling, cassette style (remember the Pantheon in Rome?).
