Here you look towards the point where, slightly off the original axis of the church, the mihrab or prayer niche is situated, with the mimber (tall pulpit used at the main Friday prayer) to its right, and another construction (I think it is called kürsü and is a more ordinary pulpit; I have never seen it used though I attended many services) to the left.
