Walking along the main street connecting the outside world with the heart of town lies the Alaettin Camii (1267; in another book 1270 is given, or Ulu Camii (Great Mosque). The first building you see to the right holds several grave monuments, but I think the one inside the wall surrounding the mosque complex is more interesting.
Turning right after entering the grounds we open the door in front, take off our shoes and enter.
