Istanbul Arch Museum june 2009 2547.jpg

The side of a ruined porphyry sarcophagus. I identified one as that of Julian the Apostate, the others are 99% sure of emperors, crosses will indicate they were Christian.

The best specimens of porphyry sarcophagi I saw in the Vatican Museum, but that is in another country.
