Free to run and explore!

Now that Kailey has been in her new home for almost three weeks
and is familiar with the neighborhood, I have started letting her off leash.
She has been pretty good (but not perfect) with the "come" command.
She always comes, but not always immediately. But she is a good learner
and I'm confident she will quickly get more reliable.

She is a super fast runner and had lots of fun today with Mojo,
another speedy rescue dog. If you heard some sonic booms about
11:00 am PST, it was them. (I wish I had brought my camera when
the two of them were playing.)

That's a gorgeous photo of beautiful Kailey, Don....she reminds me so much of our old dog, she was a rescue too. I love the composition with the wonderful OOF background and Kailey standing proud in front...great shot!

What a fine portrait of a very confident looking Kailey. She looks to me like she's surveying her new territory (with the emphasis on "her"). V.

a confident stance...the wide angle gives her such presence, and depth is underscored by the leg shadows... maybe can shake her paw late next Spring on Quadra...
