Close Up of Hoya R72 IR Filter

Here is a closer look at the IR Filter which costs approximately $50 usd. I have not had the opportunity to play with any other IR filters yet, but hope to do so in the near future. I recently got a B&W Infra-Orange 099 filter, but have not yet taken it for a test drive... It would be interesting to play with a Hoya RM90, but at that price I would consider buying the Canon 85mm f/1.8 prime lens instead!

Possible IR filters for use:
• Hoya R72 (~$50) = passes only IR rays above 720nm
• Hoya RM90 (~$300) = passes only IR rays above 900nm
• B+W Infra Orange (~$25) = passes above 520nm
• Tiffen #87 (~$120)

The above picture was really just an excuse to play with my new Hoya Close-Up Filters.
