Who left a hole here? Looking for a campsite on the Jos Plateau, outside Jos, Nigeria.

From the journal of Miss Denise Pollard:

"The countryside became more and more scrub like as we moved north, changing in a similar way to the that of Cameroon. We are now on the Jos plateau, which would be north of Garoua, with wide, bare, rocky and grass covered slopes. The scenery particularly reminded us of the granite borders north of Mokolo.

Our lunch time break extended to 5.30 pm. We managed to get ourselves to a charming spot, overlooking the plateau, despite having put one wheel of the truck in a huge hole. We had to use 2 jacks and the sand ladders to get ourselves out."
