We just saw one hanging by a thread, eye height in the middle of our front porch. Nerve wracking, but interesting. Highlands Ranch, CO

Is this it?

I have one, too, I think. It's been living under the roof eave (overhang) where's it has a huge web by the back porch lights. He (or she) has grown quite large over the past 2 months and I was wondering if "she" was pregnant. The back (or perhaps what is shown here as the "cat face") is so huge, I've been concerned that I might end up with hundreds of these. That would be too much, but it's been interesting watching this one. (ABQ, NM)

Have one of these spiders living in a corner in the west door...it is really large, about an inch and a quarter long and about a half inch to three quarters of an inch wide (not including legs). Have pictures if anyone is interested.
