Scottish Power recently upgraded the entire electricity supply to our street.
This involved placing thick timber poles at intervals of every 50 yards or so.
These new perches seem to have attracted a local Tawny Owl who now sits calling
atop the pole nearest our bedroom window at around 2.30am every morning.
Too dark for a photograph unfortunately.
Didn't have that problem when I snapped his bigger cousin on Mull a few years ago.
