"Windmills of the Gods"

"Movies, Music and Literature" Month
Another one of my favorite authors -
"Windmills of the Gods" is a 1987 novel by
American thriller writer Sidney Sheldon...(I will miss you)......

"Ashley, a professor at the University of Kansas is offered
an ambassadorship by the President of the United States.
She rejects the offer because her husband does not want
to leave his medical practice, and she is not willing
to be separated from him. She also feels that it is harder
to find a good doctor for a small Kansas town than
an ambassador to a foreign country. When her husband
suddenly dies in a suspicious traffic accident......."

Thanks, Deb! I think the folks up in the panhandle could use a new one! Great in B&W!

It's hard to let go of a favorite author, especially a prolific one like Sidney Sheldon. I couldn't help thinking that the tiny shadow of the bird flying past the windmill in your image was a grace note of goodbye. Windmills make great subjects, don't they? It's a lovely shot.

Snow, here one day, gone the next. The best kind of snow Dan.

Hey!
Where's all the snow?

PS: Looks like a hawk flying there in the background.
