Glorious. A monument. Yet one of the things I remember that really stands out for me was the Giant Sequoia on Marie Antoinette's farm. I couldn't believe it. The last thing I would ever expect. Never withstood a natural fire, it had limbs that practically touched the ground. It must have been a seedling then. Now that is extravigance.
