After the Flood.

In the year 1929 the construction of a dam gobbled up the valley of Blavet situated in Center Brittany. It was a beautiful valley with brooms, heathers, gorses, daffodils. On the river which constituted the central part of the channel from Nantes to Brest sailed barges, pulled each by two horses. On its banks lived lock keepers, millers, quarrymen who extract from veins of schist the slate so necessary to cover the Breton houses.. There was even an open-air dance hall where people use to come to amuse at the sound of a piano organ....
The houses of the lock keepers as well of those of the slate-quarry workers, the open-air dance hall, the orchards and the gardens, the trees and the flowers, the towpath : everything disappeared under waters and the inhabitants, with a heavy heart, have to leave to start a new life somewhere else...

In March 2015, EDF, the French power company, started to empty the lake of Guerlédan to make maintenance works on the dam.
Little by little a ghostly world appeared from waters...
