Back in primer

Well, after putting in nearly 30 hours of sanding (by hand with an 18-inch blocking tool) I finally have several coats of high-fill primer on the back and about two coats every where else. Still have lots more to do before it's good enough to call ready but this is a huge accomplishment for me. I'm going to have to caulk that seam along the beltline with some seam sealer to hide the uneven gaps.

As an aside, it's a real problem painting the top of the cab with it this high up. I was on a 5-foot step ladder about three steps up and couldn't hold the gun square with the top so I got some dry primer on the roof. Not sure how to deal with this when it comes time for paint, but I hope to come up with something.

Once this is finished it's time to do the final fit on the doors and then test fit the front clip.
