DAY 26 (3.5 hours)

Spent a lot of time today checking the measurements of the door openings and discovered that the driver's side was almost 3/4 inch smaller at the bottom than the passenger side. This was with the hinge post in its natural position indicating that it's bent, which I suspected. Once I got the bottom dimension to match the passenger side all the other points measured the same.

I've just clamped the hinge post to the sill in case it has to be moved to fit the door. The outer cowl skin does not fit very well at all so I'll have to wait until the door is hung to see what's up with that.

No word on when to expect the new hinges, so we're in Limbo here for a while. I'll be looking for things to tackle until the hinges get here.
