Great day of diving on Deer Island. Well, it was cold!! I don't think the temp exceeded zero Celsius, and there was wind chill. The wind was blowing a gale from the WNW in the morning, made it quite chilly for the first dive at 10am. We warmed up with hot chocolate & lunch at the Fisherman Café, and headed back to the campground for a drift at 2pm. The drift was swift but a bit of puttering around near the end extended the dive to 50min. Around 4pm a few jumped in for the low tide at the Point as the sun was getting low.. what a dedicated group of divers..!!
