In Hong Kong, Chaozhou Opera usually forms a part in celebration
of the Ghost Month in order to entertain ghosts, gods
and local people with traditional stage performance.

Chaozhou Opera is a form of Chinese Operas which has a history of more than 500 years.
The tunes of Chaozhou Opera are graceful as well as pleasant, and full of local colour.

In Chinese tradition, the seventh lunar month (usually August in Gregorian Calendar) is called the Ghost Month.
And the 15th day of the month is called "Ghost Festival"�.
It was told that the ghosts and spirits of deceased ancestors
would visit their living descendants in the Month.
