An inviting scene ... work in the background, relaxation in the foreground! :)

beautiful scene here..love how you included the leaves from above. makes it seem like this place is hidden somehow.

Nice scenic and I like the framing. Also enjoyed the beach aerobics?

I've neve seen it from this angle. Nicely done. I like the weeping willow as part of the frame.

Great shot. Nice eye. Love how you framed the city.

This is so good - the foreground looks like an exotic island. I love the composition on this.

I love the tree branches in the foreground. Nice framing.

Very nicely done in both cases.

I couldn't pick a favorite between the two. Both are very different from each other but very good.

The Vancouver shot is reall y well composed. And the family shot so much fun.

Excellent image Cliff, pretty much how I left it on Sunday. Had great weather in Oregon.

Almost looks like a tropical island parked off the coast of a major city. Nicely done!
Guest 29-Mar-2005 15:49
great composition, would be nice in b&w too...

One of the better city sky views I have seen. I think that is mostly because you have wisely chosen such an interesting forground.
Nice work.

Two great pictures; thanks for sharing. I love that view back to Vancouver from Point Grey / Kitsilano.

Nice use of the tree for framing the city. It really creates depth and a sense of place for the photo beyond just the beach.

This is incredibly beautiful. It looks as though you're seeing the city from a hidden island paradise.
