Will you come and sleep with me tonight?

Who would say yes?
-
I do not feel like joking here.
-
Just imagine the person who has no other place to go for the night.
When is the last time that person felt alive and felt he or she belong?
If you can't even spend the night at the side of someone who cares, if you can't
feel safe when you sleep, if you can't afford to buy your own blanket, what is there left?
-
When is the last time you stopped and think of this?
How could it be for those who are reduced to only survive?
Ok, it is not your fault or my fault but, that is not entirely true...ultimately.
-
Have you noticed the blue tube?
An echo of a leftover of a better life he or she is hanging on to...
-
When the night falls, the "illusion" of comfort and safety is that side of a box that serves as a blanket...
-
I was numbed ans speechless to witness this. It froze my mind for a moment.
**
I can't imagine when winter comes.
But...they do spend winter like this :(((

Non François, people don't LIVE this way...
They slowly die because nobody else care to make a difference.
Their spirit is broken and their hopes have vanished.
They became the shadows of who they could have been.

Disturbing image and comment... Do people live this way ? Est-ce ainsi que les hommes vivent ? V

The composition and lighting are superb, the subject matter very disturbing.

Très percutante comme titre et comme image...On ressent un malaise justifié à contempler cette sobre et triste couche....J'adore ce genre d'image qui rentre dedans! BV!!!!

Well say, Claudia! I have to think about it.

My sentiments exactly. A lot of the homeless I encounter have a lot of issues but do not deserve to sleep like this. It is dangerous and it is a scary situation. So many more are now ending up in shelters or on the street due to losing jobs and their homes. Our shelters are flowing over with folks that just can't make it anymore. Scary that this could be any one of us if the circumstances were the same. That's why I try the best I can to help, when I can. Not easy, but at least I have a roof over my head and food in my stomach. Each one of us can learn to help a little more and show love and caring. Just one gesture of kindness can change someone's life forever. You never know. This image captures the essence of life as most of us have never witnessed or have lived. You nailed the image and you got the message across loud and clear. Brava!

Stark, powerful and disturbing. This photo conveys precisely the message of your text.
