Keepsake of College Class in China

This combination of pictures taken today highlights memory of a
college course in China (Month\January Term). I bought the coat there while studying Chinese History.
In the picture on the left I am in the middle with a dorm mate and the dorm mother after returning from the trip.
The Picture on the right shows a classmate and myself on the day I bought the coat in Kowloon, Hong Kong (I'm wearing the coat in the picture).

An amazing aspect\memory of that study trip
was the fact I stayed with a Chinese family there and
while looking through the yearbook of Mr. Chen, the man of the house
(he had attended Baylor University in Texas),
I discovered to all of our delight that he had been best friends with
the man who was at that time, my Minister of Music at my home church. Small world!

I shall go along with what Kerry has said about the 6 degrees of separation. I believe in that theory too. Wonderful story and the coat is gorgeous!

Great image, it is a small world and we each influence it more than we think.

It is indeed a small world. We are all touched by so many things that somehow come back to us by the people we encounter. We are truly one world.
