It has been another long day in DC. My son really wanted to go inside the White House but you have to ask your representative for a pass up to 6 months in advance - so that was out. He settled with the Capitol Building. We had to get the tickets early in the day and then come back at 1:30pm for the tour. We also managed to see the Botanical Gardens and the Air and Space Museum and before meeting up with my husband to see the National Archives - including getting to see the actual Declaration of Independence and Constitution and then finishing off the day I drag them around to get shots of the monuments at night.. Never the less everyone is exhausted after getting back to the hotel after 11pm...

Oh and my son has issued a correction to yesterday's note. His favorite animals are turtle and octopus tied for #1 and then the Komodo Dragon... Can't neglect the turtles...
