Heading out on the trail to North Gate Rd. in Mt. Diablo State Park, saw this fellow. Took this picture while mounted on my Arab mare who stood very still.

Wonderful moment recorded and shared, all the finer for the photographer having been on horse. And the rabbit seemed to trust the horse and its rider with camera.
